One thing I’ve learned from working with so many women is that perimenopause isn’t something to fear or ignore 🤍

I think sometimes there’s a reluctance to acknowledge it because it feels like admitting we’re getting older. But the reality is, we’re all ageing every single day, and there’s so much power in understanding what’s happening in your body rather than fighting against it.
The good news? It doesn’t have to be complicated.

There is so much information, advice, and noise online that it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and not know where to start. That’s why I always believe in taking an inside out approach. When we support the body first, everything else starts to work better, from how you feel day to day, to the health of your skin, to the results you achieve from treatments.

Most importantly, there is no one size fits all solution. What works for one woman may not work for another, which is why having the right support and a personalised plan can make all the difference.... You don’t have to navigate it alone, and you certainly don’t have to just “put up with it” 🤍

For so many years, women were experiencing symptoms without even realising perimenopause could be the reason. Changes in mood, sleep, skin, energy, anxiety, brain fog, joint pain, weight fluctuations... many women were simply told it was stress, ageing, or that they just had to put up with it.

The reality is that hormones influence so much more than just our periods, they impact our brain, nervous system, cardiovascular health, bone density, skin, metabolism, and overall wellbeing.

This is why understanding what’s happening inside your body is so important. Not because we should fear perimenopause, but because awareness gives us choices. The earlier we recognise changes and start supporting our bodies appropriately, the better positioned we are to protect our long term health and quality of life ✨

Knowledge truly is power when it comes to women’s health, and the more openly we talk about these conversations, the more women we help feel informed, supported, and understood. 🤍

For many women, hormonal changes can make the body and skin more reactive. As oestrogen levels begin to shift, it can influence histamine responses in the body, which may show up as increased skin sensitivity, itching, redness, flushing, or reactions that seem to come out of nowhere.

That’s why I always encourage women not to just look at the symptom, but to ask why it’s happening. Sometimes what looks like a new allergy isn’t always as straightforward as it seems.

The more we understand what’s happening beneath the surface, the better we can support the body and stop constantly firefighting symptoms ✨
