We love it when we get positive feedback from our clients but this review of our brand new Mother To Be Ritual topped them all!  Our beautiful client Stacey has been patiently waiting for us to design a treatment package perfect for mum’s to be.

Our Natural Spa Expert Sarah got to work and we think we’ve pulled it off.  Read what Stacey had to say about her treatment here.

Are you expecting?!

If the answer is yes, then I would highly recommend that you get yourself along to Enhance Beauty (or book now using the app) & indulge in a little me time with the new Mother To Be Indulgence Ritual. I approached Nicola the salon owner & asked about a possible pregnancy package, she of course welcomed the idea having three boys of her own & had Sarah, an expert on Natural Spa Factory products, design a package tailored to my needs. It includes the use of the Bumps A Daisy range from Natural Spa, which I can confirm smell amazing, are available to purchase from the shop & are completely safe to use whilst pregnant.

First you get to enjoy a foot soak, this allowed Sarah time to explain the treatment.I was then left to get comfy (I stripped right down to my Bridget Jones pants) Hey, once you’ve had a child your inhibitions go right out the window! If you feel embarrassed, don’t! Sarah couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable & at ease.
I was provided with an extra pillow, on a heated bed with soft blankets! I could have fell asleep straight away I was that cosy.

I lay on one side first of all & I was treated to a soft flowing massage, using oil which Sarah mixed with cream to form a soufflé, then the same on the other side. It’s a really nice massage & you absolutely feel the stresses melt away. I then lay on my back, Sarah propped me up using pillows, supporting me where necessary & started off my mini facial with a double cleanse, scrub, mask, toner & a moisturiser to finish. They use the skincare range Dermalogica & tailor the products to your skin type. This has certainly been the only time I have felt “glowing” in this pregnancy so far.
Whilst the mask is on & a cool eye mask is applied Sarah gave me a foot & leg scrub, followed by a foot & leg massage.

The products are so lovely & the treatment left me feeling so refreshed & invigorated. I think my puffiness was already showing signs of improvement by the time I even left the room! I also added on an express pedicure as there’s no way at this stage I could paint my own toes. I haven’t even saw them in a while! Afterwards water is offered & time to sit & chill whilst my polish dried. I also believe that if you are not keen on your feet being touched a nice hand/arm massage can be done in place of this.

I didn’t shower or put make up on, I let the products work their magic & next day I felt great. I didn’t have swollen ankles & my back felt normal again. My skin looked fabulous & my toes were pretty again. When can I book in again I think to myself? Hello third trimester & hello new me!

Was this treatment worth every penny? Yes absolutely, for one us woman owe it to ourselves to a treat especially when we are working, pregnant, parents already, or just in need of a little me time or even just 75 minutes off from the world. I found it to be very beneficial to not only my body & skin but also to my mood in general.

So if you are due a baby & have passed your first trimester then get yourself booked in or better still get you partner, mum friends or kids to treat you to this new exclusive package offered by Enhance. You won’t be disappointed. Are you having a baby shower & are stuck for ideas? Get everyone to chip in & buy this for you, it would make a great gift.

Also if you haven’t heard already, this amazing salon has been nominated for the Edinburgh Business Awards, it takes two seconds to vote & here is the link
If you are already a client then you will know that they absolutely deserve this. The girls all work so very hard & I know the manager is well respected & always improving services & ideas.
